Tampa’s head coach John Cooper praised the Russian striker Nikita Kucherov, and also shared his expectations from the Stanley Cup final series with Colorado.
Kucherov is an amazing player. He is a unique, special talent. He can create a moment because he has great individual skill. At such a deep stage of the playoffs, such hockey players can become a decisive factor, ”the NHL press service quotes Cooper.
In the current playoff draw, Kucherov played 17 matches in which he scored 23 (7 + 16) points.
The first match of the final series of the Stanley Cup between Colorado and Tampa will be held on the night of June 16.
