“FHR Championship – Stavok League Cup 3×3”
On June 14, the third game day of the FHR Championship – Stavka League Cup 3×3 will take place. The teams will play the final matches of the group stage and the playoffs.
Tournament
In the first tournament of the cup, 16 teams, more than 100 hockey players are fighting for victory in the non-stop mode for three days. The head coach of HC SKA and the first vice-president of the FHR Roman Rotenberg plays for the national team of St. Petersburg, and other teams include KHL and VHL players: Nikolai Goldobin, Sergey Tolchinsky, Andrey Alekseev, Evgeny Yaroslavlev, Stanislav Alshevsky, Maxim Tsyplakov, Ilya Talaluev, Ziyat Paygin and many others. BC “Liga Stavok” is the title partner of the tournament.
In total, the teams will play 64 matches, including the group stage and the playoffs, 8 teams will get into it. The main trophy of the FHR Championship is the Stavok League Cup, the prize fund of the tournament is 5,000,000 rubles.
After two in-game days:
Group A: St. Petersburg, Tula, Yaroslavl – 10 points each; Novosibirsk – 8; Tolyatti – 6; Moscow – 4; Yekaterinburg – 1; Chelyabinsk – 0.
Thus, the four playoff participants from this group are already known. Since Novosibirsk took over Tolyatti in a face-to-face meeting, it will remain in fourth position in the event of a tie. Matches of the final round, which will be held on Tuesday morning, matter only for the distribution of places in the final table.
Group B: Nizhny Novgorod – 11 points; Kazan – 10; Ufa – 7; Magnitogorsk, Sochi – 6 each; Novokuznetsk, Khabarovsk – 5 each; Omsk – 2.
The first two teams secured their participation in the playoffs, the fate of the other two tickets will be decided in the last round.
Format
During the game, 4 players in each team (3 field + goalkeeper) can be on the ice. The application must have 7 players (5 field + 2 goalkeepers). The duration of the match is 3 periods of 7 minutes. The break between periods is 2 minutes. In case of a draw – a series of throws. The game is played without power struggle and probros. Instead of deletions, free throws are awarded.

FHR.RU, as well as the Start, Hockeyny (Tricolor TV) and Match TV (play-off) TV channels will broadcast the matches of the new type of hockey tournament live.

Detroit beat Toronto 3:2 in overtime in an NHL regular season match. The Wings came back twice and won thanks to a goal from young defenseman Simon Edvinsson.

Tampa Bay is in the top 3 in the conference after beating Montreal 4:3 in the penalty shootout. This is the Lightning’s fourth straight win.
Pittsburgh defeated Chicago 7:3 and forward Justin Brazeau scored his first hat trick of his NHL career. That’s right, the Penguins are second to last in the standings.

Junior World Hockey Championship. 8 goals and almost a tournament record for Finland
The third day of competitions at the Junior World Hockey Championship held in the USA has ended.
After defeating Denmark with a score of 6:2, the Finnish team also defeated Latvia with a score of 8:0. The Latvian team, which was only defeated by Canada in extra time, did not have the strength to cope with another strong opponent.
The Finnish team outscored its opponent with 41:7 (an anti-record at the World Championships – six shots per game).
Finnish hockey players lead the group with 6 points, while Latvia is in second place with one point.

Junior World Hockey Championship. The comeback and victory of one of the favorites
The third day of matches in the elite league of the U-20 World Youth Hockey Championship has started.
The Swedish team, which started the tournament with a difficult victory against Slovakia, defeated the Swiss team with a score of 3-2 today. And again there were difficulties for one of the favorites.
The Swedes lost 1:2 but scored three goals in the third period to win.
While Sweden and the USA are leaders in the group with six points, Switzerland is in last place with two losses.
