The Colorado Avalanche beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final in overtime.
The winners included Artturi Lehkonen, Gabriel Landeskog, Andre Burakovsky and Valery Nichushkin, who also scored assists.
At Tampa, Nick Paul, Ondrej Palat and Mikhail Sergachev scored. Forward Nikita Kucherov made an assist, goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky saved 34 shots.
Colorado opened the scoring in the best-of-four series. The second match of the confrontation is scheduled for June 19.
