The return of Radulov to the KHL is a plus not only for Ak Bars, but for the entire league, Kagarlitsky believes

Ak Bars striker Dmitry Kagarlitsky believes that the return of forward Alexander Radulov to the KHL will have a positive impact not only on the Kazan club, but on the league as a whole.

Ak Bars first announced the transfer of Radulov from Dallas at the end of May, there was no official announcement of the signing of the contract yet. This NHL season, the player has played 74 games in the regular season and playoffs, scoring 22 (4+18) points.

– The return of Radulov to the KHL is a plus not only for Ak Bars, but for the entire league. The surname Radulov is well-known not only in Russia, but also in America. Everyone understands what kind of hockey player he is. And even though Sasha’s last season was not the most successful, there is no need to pay attention to this, everyone has such. I played against him, I remember what a master he is. I repeat, everyone benefited from the fact that Radulov returned to Russia. I am glad that we will play in the same team. This is a master for big tasks, such players are worth their weight in gold, – quotes the words of Kagarlitsky “Match TV”.

– Are you personally not embarrassed by such a large-scale strengthening of Ak Bars? After all, last season you became the team’s top scorer, its leader. And now the competition among forwards in Kazan will increase dramatically.

“I don’t give a damn about it. And I don’t consider last season super successful for myself. 34 points in the regular season is not an outstanding result. But the most important thing is the Cup. If the guys who came to Kazan help to conquer it, no one will worry about personal statistics. It won’t matter who is the top scorer and who scored how many points.
