Avangard Omsk has signed agreements with Canadian striker Korban Knight and American forward Reed Boucher, the press service of the hockey club reports.
The contract with Knight is for two seasons, with Boucher – for one.
Last season, Knight scored 55 points (21 goals + 34 assists) in 60 KHL regular season and playoff games with Avangard.
Boucher previously received a 1-year suspended sentence in the United States with 4 years of probation for a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl in 2011. The hockey player at that time was 17 years old. The American scored 27 (12+15) points in 46 games last season for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
