“Collecting the underworld.” Kozhevnikov criticized Avangard for signing a contract with Bush convicted of rape

Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov believes that Avangard Omsk does not adhere to moral principles by signing a contract with American forward Reed Boucher, who was previously convicted of rape.

Bush signed an agreement with Avangard on Saturday for a period of one season. In February, the 28-year-old forward left Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. The hockey player, who became the owner of the Gagarin Cup with Avangard, was sentenced in the United States to four years of probation and one year of probation in the case of a relationship with a minor in 2011.

– Since Avangard likes such people, what can you do? It turns out that we collect the criminal world. We will, as the club declares, give criminals a second chance, – quotes the words of Kozhevnikov “Match TV”.

“There is also a crime of a special nature.

– Dirty, cheap. But things are going on in the world right now that… Apparently, Omsk decided to support Western trends. It turns out that Avangard is at the forefront of all these European innovations.

– Lokomotiv broke up with Bush shortly after the verdict.

– And he did the right thing. Yaroslavl support moral purity in the league. A “Vanguard” went on about the European trends. Unpleasant.

– Especially since Reed plays really well.

– There is no dispute with this. But we are not discussing his playing qualities, but the moral character of a person. Bush could play in the NHL, but only he would never be accepted there with such a criminal record. Because they adhere to strict moral principles. And we, it turns out, do not protect our morality.
