Fetisov on Bush’s transition to Avangard: “Everything is on the conscience of those who make decisions”
Two-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov commented on the transfer of American striker Reed Bush to Avangard Omsk, noting that this decision lies on the conscience of the hockey club’s management.
Bush signed an agreement with Avangard on Saturday for a period of one season. In February, the 28-year-old forward left Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. The hockey player, who became the owner of the Gagarin Cup with Avangard, was sentenced in the United States to four years of probation and one year of probation in the case of a relationship with a minor in 2011.
– I don’t know who this Bush is and why such a decision was made by the club and the league. Will this be a blow to the image of the KHL and Avangard? Do they have it? In general, I have nothing to say here – I do not know what he is like as a player.
Of course, the moral component is an important thing. Everything else is on the conscience of those who make decisions. Was Bush’s invitation due to a shortage of legionnaires? I don’t know, ”Sport24 quotes Fetisov.
Boucher scored 27 points (12 goals + 15 assists) in 46 KHL regular season games last season.
