Olimpbet and the KHL have established a new pre-season tournament in the 3v3 format

Even in summer, Olimpbet will not let hockey fans get bored. The betting company presents a joint project with the KHL – OLIMPBET KHL 3×3 Tournament. From June 22 to June 30, the top players in the KHL, MHL and VHL will split into eight teams and hold an exciting 3v3 tournament. All games will be held at the Mytishchi Arena, they will be shown live by KHL and KHL Prime TV channels, and the decisive matches will be broadcast by the federal Match TV.

The 3v3 format is spectacular and productive in itself, and the new tournament will be even more dynamic. The games will be held on a court three times smaller than usual, matches will consist of three periods of eight minutes. Hockey players will be easier to attack and harder to defend. In the innovative and impudent format, all meetings of the Olimpbet KHL 3×3 tournament will be held.

“Olimpbet continues to discover new sports with non-standard formats. Quick games, beautiful goals, hungry KHL players are all that fans need, – commented on the start of the OLIMPBET KHL 3×3 Tournament, the development director of the betting company Konstantin Gusev. – In our opinion, hockey in the 3v3 format can grow into a separate sport due to its spectacularity and transience. We are very pleased that we stand together with the KHL at the origins of a new tournament, which, we hope, will be remembered by fans and become an annual event.”

“For the League, hockey in the 3v3 format is very interesting – it’s dynamics, high speeds, a lot of beautiful goals. Especially considering the “short” court at our tournament: I’m sure it will go to both the spectators and the hockey players themselves,” said Sergey Dobrokhvalov, Vice President of the KHL for Marketing and Communications. – The know-how of this off-season is a training camp where players can start preparing for the pre-season. Thanks to our great friends from Olimpbet who supported the idea and did a great job with us. We are all looking forward to a new classy tournament, which will surely turn out to be bright, and in the future such tournaments will become regular.”

Representatives of 14 KHL clubs will play at the OLIMPBET KHL 3×3 Tournament, including CSKA, Metallurg, Avangard, Traktor, Spartak. Fans will see Sergey Tolchinsky, Nikolai Goldobin, Vladislav Kamenev, Alexander Nikishin and other star hockey players in the game.

“The 3v3 format is liked by both fans and hockey players. There is no fuss in the middle zone, kickbacks and rolls, and the game goes on a collision course, – the Avangard striker shared his expectations from the tournament Sergei Tolchinsky. – I see OLIMPBET KHL 3×3 Tournament not only as a preparation for the next season, but also as an opportunity to have a great time with friends from other teams. I am sure that it will be fun for both hockey players and spectators.”

All matches will appear in the Olimpbet line, and live broadcasts will also be available on the site.
