NHL named best player, goalkeeper, defender and rookie of the season
The NHL has traditionally presented individual awards at the end of the regular season. Toronto’s Auston Matthews was named the Hart Trophy’s Most Valuable Player.
The hockey player scored 60 goals in 73 games and scored 106 points. Also in the hockey players vote, Matthews was the season’s best winner and received the Ted Lindsay Award.
The best goalkeeper was Igor Shesterkin, the best defender Cale Makar and the best newcomer Moritz Seider.
Hart Trophy (Most Valuable Player)
Striker Auston Matthews (Toronto). He surpassed Connor McDavid and Igor Shesterkin.
Vezina Trophy (best goalkeeper)
Igor Shesterkin (The Rangers). In front of Jacob Markstrom and Jusse Saros.
Norris Trophy (best defender)
Cale Makar (Colorado). In front of Roman Yosi and Victor Hedman.
Calder Trophy (best rookie)
Moritz Seider (Detroit). Defeat Trevor Zegras and Michael Bunting.

Igor Shesterkin (Rangers) – Cale Makar (Colorado), Roman Yosi (Nashville) – Johnny Goudro (Calgary), Mitch Marner (Toronto), Auston Matthews (Toronto).

Jeremy Sweiman (Boston) – Moritz Seider (Detroit), Alex Carrier (Nashville) – Trevor Zegras (Anaheim), Michael Bunting (Toronto), Lucas Raymond (Detroit).
