“Only scumbags can hate Ovechkin in the US.” Kozhevnikov sharply responded to American fans insulting the striker

Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov called “scum” American fans who insult the Russian striker “Washington Capitals” Alexander Ovechkin for participating in events in Russia.

On Friday, Ovechkin played in the Dynamo football team in a friendly match against the Amkal team of bloggers (5: 0) and scored the first goal of the White-Blues. After the game, negative comments about the Russian began to appear on social networks, some called for Ovechkin to be denied entry to the United States.

– Ovechkin in the USA can be hated only by scum. Sasha has done more for Washington than any other player. He did everything for the club, he simply cannot be “bad” in the NHL. But still there are villains who pour mud on him. Apparently, they cannot forgive him for playing football so well. Let them think about his new contract. After all, he can play football for both Washington and Los Angeles. Ovechkin doesn’t care. He is great everywhere. Many people can insult him behind his back. But to maintain such a high brand for many years – units. Let Ovechkin’s critics put on skates or boots and show what they can do in sports? – quotes the words of Kozhevnikov site “Match TV”.
