The captain of “Colorado” Gabriel Landeskog after the official ceremony of awarding the Stanley Cup gave his teammates drink of champagne from the trophy.

Colorado defeated Tampa 4-2 in the Stanley Cup Final to win the trophy.
27-year-old Russian striker Valery Nichushkin won the trophy with the Avalanche. For him, this is the first Stanley Cup in his career.
Colorado won the Stanley Cup for the third time in history (1996, 2001, 2022).
