Hockey players “Colorado” continue to enjoy the victory in the Stanley Cup. I actively celebrate this success together with the team and the residents of Denver, who have not seen the triumph of their favorite club for more than two decades.

However, the holiday was not without embarrassment. During the championship parade, the avalanche player … was detained by the police. The Canadian just got off the bus for a beer – he definitely did not expect such resistance on his way.

It’s good that loyal fans came to the aid of the hockey player.

Stocked up on beer and fell into the hands of the police

Colorado Avalanche quarterback Bowen Byram won the first major trophy of his career with the team. The avalanche defense player is just starting his career in adult hockey. Bayram has only one full season behind him. According to the laws of the United States, he only received the right to buy alcoholic beverages two weeks ago: the player turned 21 on June 13.

Not all hockey fans know the young defender by sight. There is no need to talk about ordinary residents of Denver at all. It is not surprising that a funny incident happened precisely with the participation of Bowen.

During the Avalanche’s Stanley Cup victory parade, Byram and teammates drove through the streets of Denver in a firetruck. At some point, the defender decided to get down from it and approach the fans in order to share the joy of victory with them.

The hockey player was photographed with several fans and signed autographs. At this time, he also managed to stock up on a couple of cans of beer, after which he decided to return to the car. But at that moment, a hard-hitting policeman on a bicycle stood in the way of the player.

He stopped the hockey player, grabbing his sweater, and then pushed him to the fence. The player meekly complied with the requirements of the servant of the law. For several seconds, the officer did not allow the defender to go to the fire truck waiting for him with the Colorado hockey players. Bowen had to explain that he was playing for the Avalanche.

Bayram was allowed back to the team only after the fans let the law enforcement officer know that he was facing the newly minted NHL champion.

As soon as the situation was resolved, the defender ran to the partners. And the policeman continued patrolling, protecting the “avalanches” from the crowd of numerous fans who had gathered that day to celebrate the championship.
