Moscow “Dynamo” made an exchange with Kazan “Ak Bars”, as a result of which forward Jordan Weal moved to the capital’s hockey club.
Forward Stanislav Galiev, who played for the club from 2017 to 2021, joined the Kazan squad.
– I am happy to return to Ak Bars, I have been waiting for this for a long time and hoping that everything will work out. Thanks to both clubs for such a good result. I have always loved Kazan, missed the city, fans, friends and acquaintances, delicious food. Expectations from the next season are great, we have a team that we will go only for the Gagarin Cup. Ak Bars never had other tasks,” said 30-year-old Galiev.
Galiyev last season played 58 games in the regular season and playoffs, in which he scored 48 points (31 goals + 17 assists). In total, the striker played 317 games in the KHL, scored 184 points (101+83).
Will is 30 years old, in the 2021/22 season he took part in 42 matches, earned 32 points (12+20).
