“Why didn’t he serve a year in the sports company?” – Guberniev about goalkeeper Fedotov
Commentator “Match TV” Dmitry Guberniev reacted to the situation around the goalkeeper of the Russian national team Ivan Fedotov.
On Friday it became known that the police of St. Petersburg detained Fedotov. The owner of the Gagarin Cup in CSKA is suspected of evading military service. In May, the player signed a contract with Philadelphia.
— Guy health and patience! But why didn’t he serve a year in the sports company, being a CSKA player, for example? Or earlier? Where did the coaches, agents, parents, the goalkeeper look? What is the problem? Guberniev wrote in his Telegram channel.
Match TV correspondent Anna Andronova said that people without identification marks took away the 25-year-old goalkeeper after training at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg. The Central Military Commissariat of St. Petersburg told Match TV that they had no information on Fedotov.
Fedotov became the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics as part of the Russian national team.
