Former Dallas striker Alexander Radulov, on the air of the “There is a theme” program on Match TV, spoke about the situation with the goalkeeper of the Russian national team and Philadelphia Ivan Fedotov.
On Friday, July 1, 25-year-old Fedotov was detained on suspicion of evading military service. The hockey player asked for medical assistance at the assembly point of the military registration and enlistment office, after which he was taken to the Botkin Infectious Diseases Hospital. Then the player was sent for an additional examination to the military medical academy, and then to the naval hospital. In May, the winner of the Gagarin Cup as part of CSKA signed a contract with Philadelphia.
– I think that everything will be fine. Of course, an unpleasant situation, because Fedotov showed himself well last season – he won the silver of the Olympics, performed well for CSKA and won the Gagarin Cup. Apparently, something was wrong with his documents,” Radulov said on Match TV.
On May 7, it became known that Fedotov moved to Philadelphia, signing a contract for a year. Last season, the goalkeeper played for CSKA and won the 2022 Gagarin Cup with the team.
