Colorado signed a three-year contract with goaltender Georgiev

The Colorado Avalanche NHL club has signed a three-year contract with Russian goaltender Alexander Georgiev.
The average annual cost of an agreement is $3.4 million.
The Avalanches previously traded the rights to the goaltender to the New York Rangers.
Georgiev was signed by the Rangers on a free transfer in the 2017/18 season.
In the 2021/22 season, Georgiev played 33 games in the NHL regular season, saving 89.8% of shots on goal with a reliability coefficient of 2.92. In total, the 26-year-old goaltender played 129 NHL games.
