Dynamo Minsk signed a trial contract with two-time world champion Zherdev

Minsk “Dinamo” has signed a trial agreement with Russian striker Nikolai Zherdev, reports website KHL.
The 37-year-old forward last season played for the Bratislava Capitals from Slovakia and the Italian Merano.
The last time Zherdev played in the KHL for Neftekhimik and Dynamo Riga was in the 2017/18 season. In total, Zherdev played 408 matches in the domestic league, in which he scored 232 (79 + 153) points. The striker’s clubs were also Atlant, Ak Bars, Spartak, Severstal, Dynamo Moscow, Sochi and Torpedo.
In the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Zherdev was selected fourth overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Also in the NHL, the Russian played for the New York Rangers and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Zherdev is a two-time world champion in the Russian team.
