Dynamo Minsk signed a contract with three-time Gagarin Cup winner Aleksey Yemelin
Dynamo Minsk announced the transfer of 36-year-old Russian defender Alexei Yemelin to the team.
The contract between the parties is for one season.
In the 2021/22 season, Emelin played for Avangard. The defender played in 43 KHL regular season games, scoring 8 (2+6) points. In the playoffs for 13 games, he scored 5 (2+3) points. In the KHL, Emelin also played for Lada and Ak Bars. He won the Gagarin Cup three times (two titles with Ak Bars, one with Avangard).
In the NHL, Emelin played for Montreal (2011-2017) and Nashville (2017-2018). As part of the Russian national team, he became the winner of the 2012 World Cup.
