The legendary Hasek offered to plant KHL players for 15 years. Makes a career on Russophobia!

The Czech goalkeeper aims for politics and is already engaged in populism.

Legendary Czech goalkeeper Dominik Hasek retired long ago and is now trying to start a new chapter in his life. To succeed in politics, the famous hockey player decided to choose a win-win option – he fell into Russophobia.

In the spring, Olympic champion Nagano called for a ban on Russians from playing in the NHL, and now he is demanding jail time for Czechs who plan to play in the KHL.

Thus he wants to save the Czech Republic. From what?

Put in jail for safety

“I don’t blame this guy or his agent, but only the parliament and government of the Czech Republic for not passing a law prohibiting Czech citizens from working in Russia,” Hasek wrote on social networks after learning that the Czech striker of Russian origin Dmitry Yashkin signed a contract pacifier.

Without blaming Yashkin, Gashek nevertheless spoke out that 15 years in prison should be given for working for Russia. According to the ex-hockey player, such a measure would increase the security of the Czech Republic, its allies and could save many lives. What is the connection between the performance in the KHL and the security of the Czech Republic, however, is known only to the Dominator himself.

If the titled veteran believes that punishment for working in our country can really save someone’s life, he should be the first to go to prison for the next decade and a half. In the 2010/11 season, the six-time owner of Vezina worked without a twinge of conscience for Russia, defending the gates of Spartak Moscow …

Hasek aiming for the presidency?

With his populist statement, Hasek angered the public both in Russia and in his native country. Czech subscribers reminded the athlete of his dark past in the KHL, which does not really fit the image of an uncompromising fighter against the Russian threat. In our country, the idea of the Dominator was not appreciated all the more:

– Yes, Hasek went to hell. One must ask what he was doing in Russia ten years ago. Yashkin has Russian roots. Maybe now he’ll think about whether he should play for the Czech national team or not, – ex-forward of the Russian national team Maxim Sushinsky walked through his former colleague in an interview with the Championship.

– Hasek, if he was so principled, he should not have played in Russia, where he earned a lot of money. Therefore, Dominic can safely go to hell according to tradition, ”the Championship quoted the words of television commentator Dmitry Guberniev.

– Dominik started his political career, he is aiming for the presidency of the Czech Republic. Apparently, all these statements are now part of his political program. He is trying to raise his rating on the anti-Russian wave, ”two-time Olympic champion Boris Mayorov told the Match TV correspondent.

“It’s amazing that now he is speaking so negatively in our direction. Perhaps Hasek wants to draw attention to himself in this way in order to eventually break into the government of the Czech Republic. If they forbid their hockey players to play in Russia, then they will make it worse for themselves, ”said Nikita Shitov, former teammate of Gashek in Spartak,“ Match TV ”.

Fortunately, while Dominik does not determine the policy of his native country, and his call to imprison hockey players for playing in Russia is just shaking the air. It remains to be hoped that the pressure exerted on Czech hockey players will not affect their plans to play in the KHL, and all of them, unlike their Latvian colleagues, will be able to fulfill their signed obligations.
