Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov suggested issuing a Russian passport to Latvian KHL athletes who could potentially face criminal prosecution.
– Those who want to play with us should be accepted and offered Russian citizenship so that they do not sit in prison. We are ready to make some concessions for foreigners – there, Seagal was given a passport. And for people who are ready to play with us, we don’t do it. Marvelous. Everything that the Americans put in their heads will be there, ”Gazeta.Ru quotes Kozhevnikov as saying.
