“I want to terminate the contract with Dynamo, but I don’t have such financial opportunities” – Swedish striker Lilja
Swedish Dynamo Moscow striker Jacob Lilja said he intends to terminate the agreement with the hockey club, but cannot do so due to lack of funds.
On Monday, Dynamo announced the transfer of Lily from Barys. The contract term with the 28-year-old striker is for two years. According to the hockey player in the Swedish media, he signed a contract with the Russian team before the events in Ukraine and then negotiated with other clubs.
– I have already spoken very clearly about this – I want to terminate the agreement. I had a chance to do it, I spoke with one Swiss club, as well as Malmö and Linkoping, who could buy out the contract. Personally, I myself can not afford it, I do not have such financial opportunities. I don’t have enough money. Simply put, it costs more than I have,” said Lilya, quoted by Expressen.
