Three-time Stanley Cup winner Vyacheslav Fetisov called on Russian hockey players to return to their homeland after the incident with Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Konstantin Volkov in Finland.
Earlier, Volkov admitted that he was forced to stick the Russian flag on his helmet while playing for the Finnish Essyat.
– Let them return home to Moscow, where they are loved and expected. Here no one will ask to seal the flag. The regulations of the Finnish league, apparently, do not like Russia, although I think that this is complete nonsense. What is happening in the world right now is terrible, and this also applies to this situation, ”RBC Sport quotes Fetisov.
