The general manager of the Moscow “Dynamo” Alexei Sopin said “Championship“, when legionnaires arrive at the location of the hockey club.

— Eric O’Dell arrives in Russia on the afternoon of August 9th. Unfortunately, he had problems with documents, visa history. But now he already, thank God, got everything. You understand, there is a problem with transfers, so he arrives only on the 9th, at two in the afternoon.

The next day, an in-depth medical examination takes place. Now we are thinking about whether there is a need to take him to the tournament in Ufa. It probably won’t make sense. Most likely, he will stay here and wait for the team to return to Moscow.

Lily? Visa approval received. We hope that he will arrive in Moscow even faster than O’Dell. Approximately numbers 7-8. Here, too, the question is open – whether to take it to Ufa. We are waiting for their arrival.

The general manager also reacted to a recent interview with Jacob Lilja, in which he said that he would like to terminate the contract with the club, but he does not have the financial means.

– The sports life of any hockey player is quite short. The player must earn money if he has such an opportunity and there are offers. Why should he refuse it? I’m sure that Jacob himself had in mind a little different than what eventually came out in the press. But the most important thing in this situation is that he is ready and goes to Russia not to serve a number. He goes to play hockey and show good results. Dynamo Moscow is counting on him,” he said.

Sopin also explained the reasons for the increase in the contract of striker Eric O’Dell.

– What is the question here? A year ago, he was without a team, and he actually had no offers. He came to us for money alone, but do not forget that before that there was a termination of the contract with Sibir, according to which he received compensation. That is, in fact, the amount for him personally turned out to be much higher. Secondly, there is the market price. Nobody remembers how much money he played in Metallurg Magnitogorsk, what kind of contract he had then, – the general manager concluded.
