They thought they had a great idea that they could put an ‘orange’ dot in Monza, which no one saw and was full of red. And that they can enjoy F1 for free. However, the plan failed. An 80 Dutchman has been arrested red-handed at the Monza Autodrome for setting up illegal grandstands to follow his F1 Italian Grand Prix this weekend.

The chosen location was just behind Turn 1 of the first Veriante. They wanted to have a stand inside the campsite from one day to the next so they didn’t have to buy tickets.

This story is strange. Because these Dutch fans brought a ton of material onto the track for construction that, besides being illegal, could have been a real danger to all those who climbed it.

Fortunately, before any misfortune struck, this group of fans was arrested by police on Thursday afternoon while setting up the aforementioned grandstand.

A police source told local media outlet Monza Today, “They hail a truck and some campers who were clearly drunk during the operation tried to object.”
