De Vries replaces Albon with appendicitis
Alex Albon will not participate in the 2022 F1 Italian GP after suffering an attack of appendicitis for which he had to undergo surgery. This will force Williams into the emergency vehicle of Mercedes-owned driver Nick de Vries, with Toto Wolff wanting to sit in the same seat in F1 this year after winning the Formula E title last year. I was thinking.
De Vries will thus experience his debut in Formula 1, not the way he dreamed it, but it will already be part of his resume.
All this is what Albon of Thailand himself told on his social networks after he was put into operation.
“Appendicitis, surgery, and not running weren’t what I expected this weekend!” he pointed out.
The Bad: I miss what I thought was a good weekend. and pain. The good: Singapore weight loss and new scars,” he joked.
