Aron Kane tones, Augusto Fernandez to stagnation
Arón Canet finished the first day of free practice at the Aragon Moto2 GP as the leader after dominating FP2 to finish first. He was able to finish second, but to lower the morning mark. Alonso Lopez rounded out the top three.
Kane posted the best time of 1:52.852. This was his one 73000th faster than the time Fernandez set in the morning. Fernandez officially announced his signing with MotoGP GasGas Factory during this Friday’s session.
Six Spaniards finished in the top 10, with Pedro Acosta in 6th, Albert Arenas in 7th and Fermín Aldeguer in 8th. Marcos Ramirez and Jorge Navarro also have provisional passes. Also at the World Cup she placed second Ai Ogura was her twelfth place and was classified between Ramirez and Navarro on aggregate.
At the moment, Manuel “Manugas” González and Jeremy Alcoba are out of the top 14, and first World Cup leader Celestino Vietti also included a fall (17th).
