Fernando Alonso’s great success in karting continues
Fernando Alonso has just won the FIA Karting World Champion crown at Italy’s Sarno circuit, with Brazilian Mateus Morgat, a driver who races under the colors of FA Kart, the team he owns. Good luck.
“Karting World Champion.
Morgat is the first Brazilian to win a Karting World Championship in the OK category. Part of that title can be attributed to him as he is one of the drivers for his DPK Racing team in Asturias with technical assistance from the Alonso Kart Racing Team. In addition to the congratulations over the network, there was also a video call from Alpine, his pilot who was watching the Italian test from afar.
Fernando started in karting and became Junior World Champion in 1996 at the age of 14 in Ghent. For some time he has been helping young drivers in his school in Llanella, Asturias and in his go-kart circuit.
