Alex Albon will finally walk in Singapore
A simple appendectomy nearly cost the Williams driver his life.
Alex Albon will be racing as normal at the Singapore GP after the adventure he has endured over the past two weeks that nearly cost him his life. The Williams driver was diagnosed with appendicitis ahead of the Italian GP and taken to a hospital in Monza. Despite being a routine operation, resuscitation complications arose that led to his admission to the ICU!
Fortunately, Albon managed to overcome the danger and as his team officially announced today, he will return to his car to race normally during these three days.
Should Albon feel unwell during the first two periods of free practice on Friday, Williams can replace him.
