The race took place as part of the Singapore Grand Prix. The victory was won by Red Bull driver Sergio Perez, who started second but quickly overtook Charles Leclerc to secure the lead.
In the end, Leclerc put a lot of pressure on Perez, but the Red Bull rider struggled to fend off his opponent’s attacks and took his 4th career win.
After the race, the judges thought Pérez had been breached during the safety car. The pilot was penalized by 5 seconds, but Sergio was 7.6 seconds ahead of Leclerc and thus retained the win.
