Hearing date set for ex-president of Formula 1
Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone will be put on trial. This will take place in October next year.
Judge Deborah Taylor is reportedly scheduled for a hearing on October 9, 2023. A spokesperson for justice also said that the trial of the 91-year-old businessman could take up to six weeks.
Ecclestone is suspected of providing false information about his foreign assets to the UK tax office. He allegedly hid £400m from taxes by withdrawing money to offshore accounts. At the pre-trial hearings, Bernie pleaded not guilty.
Previously, Bernie Ecclestone was embroiled in scandal when he admitted his support for Russian President-dictator Vladimir Putin.
