On the podium’, ‘hopefully we can do that on Sunday’.
“Suzuka is a unique circuit. The track is very special, especially the first sector. Without a doubt one of the best circuits in the world,” pointed out the ‘Czech’, who won last Sunday’s marina. It was Bay’s fourth victory in Formula 1 and his second of the season, following his victory in Monaco.
“Basically to make a good lap you have to be accurate all the way to turn 11 because if you push too hard you can get into trouble. The level of risk you are willing to take is very high. It’s high and there’s a loophole there’ and things can get complicated quickly if you make a mistake.
“I’ve never been on the podium at Suzuka, so it would be great to be on the podium on Sunday,” said Czech.Red Bull’s Constructors’ World Championship.
“My best memory in Japan is the fans. I hope to put in a good performance this weekend for them and for Honda (their team’s motorcyclist who owns the Suzuka Circuit).” Award from Japan.
