Hamilton on spending limit: ‘Red Bull is constantly updating the car’
Mercedes Lewis Hamilton’s driver gave his opinion on the situation last season amid rumors he may be breaking Red Bull’s spending limit rules.
“Talk about the spending limit, I remember we didn’t do any car updates after Silverstone last season. It’s nice that the update was successful and we fought to the end for the title. But every race I saw Red Bull bring updates to the car.
“After Silverstone, they made four more upgrades. But I still hope everything is in order. “I trust the management of the F-1 and the FIA,” said Hamilton.
Last season, Lewis literally lost the title in a fight against Max Verstappen in the final laps of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
