OFFICIALLY. Pierre Gasly is going to the Alpine. Pilot leaves Red Bull
Formula 1 team Alpin announced the signing of pilot Pierre Gasly, who signed a multi-year contract from the 2023 season.
Gasly has played for Alfa Tauri in recent seasons and before that they had a chance at Red Bull. The French driver has been in the Bulls system for a long time.
At Alpin, Gasly will become Esteban Ocon’s partner. As a result, the French team will receive a double French rider.
Gasly ran 103 races in F-1, won 1 and took the podium three times.
The driver in Alpha Tauri will be replaced by Nick de Vries, who will become Yuki Tsunoda’s partner.
