Red Bull violates F1 season spending cap rule
The FIA and Formula 1 have announced that three F1 teams have violated the spending limit rule, which states that you must not spend more than $145 million per year.
At the end of the 2021 season, the culprits were Red Bull, Aston Martin and Williams. At the same time, Aston Martin and Williams violated the reporting procedure, thus limiting themselves to financial penalties.
However, Red Bull exceeded the 145 million figure, but it is stated that the team violated the limit by a small amount (less than 5%), so there will be no serious penalties.
But F-1 sanctions have yet to be announced. Bulls may lose a maximum of a certain number of points in the Constructors’ Championship.
Red Bull dominates this F1 season and Max Verstappen is a two-time world champion.
