Murcian Fermin Ardegaer In his Phillip Island circuit debut, he took pole position at the Moto2 Australian Grand Prix, beating leader Augusto Fernández and teammate Alonso Lopez by a margin of 1/73,000. To add insult to injury, the Madrid native has yet to complete a long lap in this Sunday’s race after contact with Vietti in his FP1 on Friday.

If the premier class is the most competitive in the history of the MotoGP era, in the Moto2 intermediate class they are not far behind, with leader Augusto Fernandes and second Ai Ogura ahead of this Sunday’s race. 1.5 points apart. Phillip Island’s behavior is mixed. In free practice, Mallorca were overtaken by Bosco Scroo Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer, and the Japanese entered the second quarter in just 11th place.

Other than five Spaniards finishing in the top six in free practice to claim Spain’s pole position, it was a surprise that only Asper Jake Dixon slipped past. Since the first lap started, Boskosclaw’s men have led Aldeguer ahead of López, setting a time of 1:32.233, Murcian’s record in his pole debut in Argentina. Leader Fernandez and third-placed Canet have already completed that first provisional row.

But given Ogura’s difficulty – tenth at the time and, like Marquez, saved in the first round – Augusto smelled blood and finished second by 0.073 from Ardeguer. The Spaniard’s nerves are not strong enough and both have been warned by race direction.

Ardegher, Fernandez and Lopez remain at the forefront, awaiting Augusto’s investigation. Arbolino, Cane and Vietti qualified on his second row, while Gonzalez, Acosta and Alcoba qualified from his third row. Ogura was unable to pass from his 13th place position and could not pass without the help of his 16th place teammate Chantra.

And it showed the red flags to some of the geese who decided to walk quietly down the track to finish in 36 inches, which had already happened hours ago at the end of Moto3 FP3, too, to Alonso Lopez had no options for improvement.

Manu Gonzalez, Dalla Porta, Vietti and Chantra qualified after the first quarter. Albert Arenas starts in his 19th position. He could only run his one lap and crashed in FP3 destroying his bike. Marcos Ramirez he is 22nd and Jorge Navarro he is 24th.
