Vettel talks about his toughest rival in his Formula 1 career
4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who retired after this season, talked about his strongest rivals in Formula 1.
“I would say Hamilton is the toughest opponent. Especially when he was at Ferrari. Lewis was always somewhere close, it was tough for him. Before that, I used to say Fernando Alonso.”
“Retirement? I still love the sport, I love the F-1. Maybe if I had a competitive car in recent years and fought for victories and titles, then I wouldn’t break up now. Maybe I don’t know for sure.”
“If you already know what it means to finish first, finishing 10 doesn’t give me any pleasure. Vettel said the decision to retire was not an easy one.
Aston Martin Seb has scored 32 points this season.
