Verstappen wins the US Grand Prix nicely and disappoints Hamilton
top 10Cast: Verstappen, Hamilton, Leclerc, Perez, Russell, Norris, Alonso, Vettel, Magnussen, Tsunoda
The race took place as part of the US Grand Prix. Red Bull rider Max Verstappen, who started second, won the race, but quickly took the lead and moved away from his rivals. That’s right, at the second pit stop the Bulls made a mistake and Max lost a lot of time.
Verstappen finished third but beat Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton to win the 13th race of the season. Most of all, of course, Hamilton was upset as he has yet to win this season and risks ending the year without a victory for the first time in his F-1 career.
Watch out for Carlos Sainz! The Ferrari driver started from the pole position, but was eliminated at the first corner by George Russell and the Spaniard finished the race.
Completing the top 3 on the podium, Hamilton and Leclerc started 12th and had a good race.
Red Bull broke Mercedes’ dominance at the end of the race and won the Constructors’ Championship.
