Nico ROSBERG: “Red Bull became a Mercedes. It’s hard to stop them.”
Nico Rosberg, Formula 1 world champion at Mercedes, believes Red Bull will continue to be the main favourite in the 2023 season.
“Red Bull has become as dominant as Mercedes in recent years. Red Bull got both titles very early on, they have the best car, the best driver, the best car development team and a very powerful engine.”
“Also, the Bulls are usually very good at strategizing in a race. For them, all the factors combined incredibly and it will be incredibly difficult for Mercedes and Ferrari to stop them in the new season.
“Mercedes has a big problem with speed on the flat. The car is very slow compared to the Red Bull,” says Rosberg.
Max Verstappen was the champion this season, and Red Bull interrupted Mercedes’ 8-year winning streak in the Constructors’ Championship.
