OFFICIALLY. Audi team decided to join Formula 1
Formula 1 has announced that Audi will participate in the championship from the 2026 season. It will be represented both as a factory team and as an engine supplier.
From 2026 there will be new engine regulations in F1.
The Audi team will be formed on the basis of the Sauber team, which currently operates under the Alfa Romeo brand. However, after next season, Alfa Romeo is leaving the F-1.
The Audi structure is already recruiting people who are starting to develop the engine and the car concept.
