Jack Doohan drives Ocon’s Alpine in Free Practice 1 of the Mexican GP

Alpine Academy driver Jack Doohan makes his official debut behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. He will pilot Ocon’s A522 as part of two mandatory practices for rookies. , will also do so at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Doohan had already driven the same car on the team’s 100km shooting day at Monza in September. I tested the A521.
Jack Doohan joined the Alpine Academy in January after finishing runner-up in Formula 3 in 2021. In his first campaign in Formula 2 this year, he scored his three victories and three more podiums and his three pole positions.
