Verstappen beats Alonso’s record, but is far from an absolute success
At last weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen beat twice Formula 1 champion Alpine driver Fernando Alonso in total career laps.
The 25-year-old Dutchman Verstappen had 61 laps in Mexico, bringing his career figure to 1,798 laps. Alonso has 1,770 laps leading his career. It is interesting that Verstappen is still inferior to Alonso in terms of leading kilometers – the difference between them remains 15 kilometers.
Max Verstappen is ninth in the career leadership rounds. The leader in this indicator is seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. He is in the leading position in the race because of the 5437 circle.
