Lewis Hamilton naturalized Brazil
Before the Brazilian Grand Prix began, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton received the status of honorary citizen of Brazil. The British pilot addressed Parliament and thanked him for the high title.
Lewis has confessed many times his love for the country where he won his first championship title. Last season Hamilton won the race nicely and unfurled the Brazilian flag after the finish.
“I feel like one of you. I have great memories of Brazil,” said Hamilton during the presentation of his citizenship certificate.
In total, the pilot has three victories at the Interlagos circuit.
