VIDEO. “Don’t ask me for this.” Verstappen did not return Perez position
At the end of the Brazilian Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who won the title ahead of schedule, did not want to give his position to teammate Sergio Perez.
Before that, Sergio missed Verstappen, so Max tried to beat Fernando Alonso, and the team promised Perez that if he didn’t pass Alonso, Verstappen would return his position to him. Max could not beat Alonso, but Perez struggled for the 2nd place in the overall standings, but did not leave the position to his partner.
I had my own reasons. I’ve already explained everything, you don’t have to ask me that, okay? “I have my reasons, I will hold on,” said Verstappen.
Red Bull will address these issues within the team but want Perez to finish second overall and underline the Bulls’ dominance of the season.
