This is Max Verstappen’s new Honda
The Japanese company gave the Formula 1 world champion a great gift as part of Honda Racing Thanks Day.
Every year, Honda organizes the Honda Racing Thanks Day event, a celebration for the people and drivers of the Japanese company’s racing department. At this year’s celebration at Motegi Circuit, Honda honored Max Verstappen with a special gift for his second Formula 1 title: a gray Honda NSX Type S, the latest version of the Japanese manufacturer’s hybrid supercar brand.
“It’s a great car. So I’m very proud to get it. Thank you very much” were the words of the Dutch champion.
Only 350 examples were built, the NSX Type S combines a 3.5-litre V6 engine, three electric motors and a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The combined power of the hybrid system reaches 600 hp!
