OFFICIALLY. Ferrari boss resigns
Formula 1 team Ferrari has announced that Scuderia boss Mattia Binotto has resigned one year before his contract expires.
Ferrari started the 2022 season well, but technical and other problems prevented the team from fighting for the title with Red Bull. Pilot Charles Leclerc finished 2nd overall and the Scuderia finished 2nd in the Builders Championship.
Binotto served in his post for three years. He is expected to be replaced by Alfa Romeo boss Frederic Wasser.
Ferrari hasn’t won a championship since 2008.
