Max VERSTAPPEN: “I’m not a big fan of running”
Driver “Red Bull” Max Verstappen expressed his opinion on the presence of sprint races on the Formula 1 calendar.
“To be honest, I’m not a big fan of it. It seems to me that we don’t participate in races much because you get a few points for the sprint. You also know that you can’t risk it because there is a main race and the main points are played here.
With these cars, maybe the racing is a little better, but generally you won’t see much overtaking unless someone is out of position. “So it’s not much fun for me,” Verstappen said.
As you know, six sprint races are planned for the 2023 season in Formula 1.
It was previously reported that he extended his contract with Formula 1 for the Dutch Grand Prix.
