Will there be titles? Ferrari appoints new team principal
The Ferrari Formula 1 team has announced that Frederic Wasser is the team’s new boss, replacing Mattia Binotto.
Binotto left the team at the end of the 2022 season. Although Ferrari made progress compared to past championships, they were unable to give Red Bull a title fight.
The Scuderia have not won a championship since 2008.
Vasser worked as team leader at Alfa Romeo for a long time, and knows Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc well.
McLaren boss Andreas Seidl replaced Wasser with Alfa Romeo, with Andrea Stella taking his place.
