Mick Schumacher leaves Ferrari for Mercedes
Formula 1 team Ferrari has announced that it has decided not to renew the contract with driver Mick Schumacher, who spent the last seasons at the Scuderia academy.
At the same time, the Mercedes team announced that it has signed a contract with Schumacher for the 2023 season. Mick will be the reserve driver for Mercedes.
The son of the legendary Mick Schumacher has spent the last two seasons with Haas but failed to impress in F1.
Haas replaced Schumacher with Niko Hulkenberg at the end of the 2022 championship.
