You need to lose weight. Mercedes unveils the black color of the car
The Mercedes Formula 1 team unveiled a new car on February 15, and a radical black color has become a visual feature of the car.
It seems that the team did not return to the color scheme of the 2020 and 2021 seasons, but decided not to paint the car at all. The black color is the carbon the case is made of.
The fact is that all teams are fighting to reduce the weight of the cars.
“We were overweight last season. Now we are trying to reduce every gram. “So what you see is unpainted carbon,” said Mercedes boss Toto Wolff.
Last season, Mercedes was deprived of the title for the first time in 8 years.
