Lewis Hamilton: “Our goal is to win the championship, but I don’t think it’s my 8th”
Mercedes Lewis Hamilton’s driver hopes the team can prepare a car that will push him back into the title fight. Last season, Mercedes lost to Red Bull and Ferrari.
“I can’t remember the last time I got into a car this excited. No wonder Mercedes has won so many titles in past seasons – you can’t suddenly forget how to win. We may not be the fastest at the start of the season, but we have everything to close the gap quickly.”
“Our goal is the championship, but I don’t think about the eighth championship. I think it might be my first title. I’m confident we have everything we need to succeed,” said Hamilton.
